Detailed Description

Zenvom-4 Tablet is a medicine used to control nausea and vomiting due to certain medical conditions like stomach upset. It is also used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused due to surgery, cancer drug therapy, or radiotherapy. Zenvom-4 Tablet may be used alone or with other medications and can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will suggest the appropriate dose depending on what you are taking it for. The first dose is normally taken before the start of surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy. After these treatments, take any further doses as prescribed by your doctor (normally only for a few days at most). Take it regularly at the same time(s) each day to get the most benefit. Be careful not to take too much.   Zenvom-4 Tablet does not relieve other side effects associated with cancer treatments. Also, it has little effect on vomiting caused by motion sickness. The most common side effects of taking this medicine include headache, diarrhea or constipation, and feeling tired. These symptoms should disappear when you stop taking the medicine. However, if these side effects bother you or do not go away, your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.   Before taking Zenvom-4 Tablet, tell your doctor if you have heart or liver problems or a blockage in your stomach or intestines. Also, tell your doctor about any other medicines you might be taking, especially medicines to treat epilepsy, heart problems, cancer, and depression. These may affect, or be affected by, this medicine. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask for advice from your doctor. At Jiyyo, we bridge the gap between quality and affordability. Zenvom-4 is manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities following strict global safety standards. Because of our commitment to excellence, Jiyyo's own network of doctors frequently prescribes this medicine, ensuring patients receive reliable treatment they can trust.

Benefits

  • Prevention of Nausea and Vomiting from Cancer Treatments: The medication is highly effective at preventing nausea and vomiting caused by moderately emetogenic chemotherapy and radiation therapy. It works by blocking serotonin, a natural substance in the body that triggers the vomiting reflex.
  • Prevention of Postoperative Nausea and Vomiting: A 4 mg dose is often given by injection in a hospital setting to prevent or treat nausea and vomiting that may occur after surgery, especially for pediatric patients in certain age groups.
  • Off-label Uses: Doctors may prescribe the 4 mg dose off-label for other conditions, such as severe nausea and vomiting associated with gastroenteritis (stomach flu) or hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy, to help prevent dehydration and improve patient comfort.

How drug works

Signal Blocking: Zenvom-4 blocks the serotonin from binding to these 5-HT3 receptors.

Nausea Prevention: By blocking these signals, Zenvom-4 prevents the brain from receiving the messages that would otherwise cause the sensation of nausea and the physical act of vomiting.

Our formulation ensures optimal bioavailability, meaning the body absorbs the active ingredients efficiently to provide faster relief.
